Empire Rhea is a Shah Alam engineering contractor dedicated to substation and distribution automation. Since 2009, we have installed, rehabilitated and commissioned RTU, FTU and PLC modem systems for Tenaga Nasional Berhad in 12 states.
Our site team has worked on SCADA systems for more than two decades, and stays on site from the first termination to the final acceptance test. That work has earned nine Kontraktor Terbaik awards from TNB since 2020, across Distribution Automation, RTU, FTU, MRMU and safety.

Tenaga Nasional Berhad
RTU Grid Automation Rollout
Installed and commissioned RTUs at substations across eight states, bringing each site onto TNB's SCADA network. Handed over on schedule.

FTU Distribution Automation, Selangor & KL
Installed and tested FTUs on feeder networks in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur, giving TNB earlier sight of faults on those lines. SCADA acceptance testing completed and signed off.
